I Left

Snapshots I took not long before I left my home on the California desert to go to Southeast Asia. All four are taken within the Joshua Tree National Park.
The first of the four shows a cloudy day at JTNP.
The second is of an approach to the rocks of the park.
The third is of flora of the area: a yucca and some hedgehog cacti.
The fourth gets a little closer to the rocks.

If you are Over Six Four

If you sit with me in my little dinning area, take care when you stand up.

Not counting the very usable attached garage the little house has about 925 sq ft of living space. In this area a place in fair condition built in 1985 sells for about $70 a sq. ft. This updated place was built in 1985 and is in much better than fair condition. Buy it while you can. It can be a profitable rental, but might make a darn good retirement spot.

Still Moving

I am getting ready to move to my Camp Thunderbird place near 29 palms  and the north easr entrance to the Joshua Tree National Park.

The picture is of me , my paralyzed face and eye that didn't get put back exactly right.

Yes, there are cold days on the desert. The picture is on the desert of the Salton Sink or the Colorado Desert. Some are calling  it the Coachella Valley.

The hills in the background may be the Little San Bernardino Mountains marking the southern boundary of Joshua Tree National Park

Rocks

The rocks are changing, but not so fast as to rush a man.

Where I Put My Feet

Just looking down where I put my feet seems interesting to me. Desert good.
