I am getting ready to move to my Camp Thunderbird place near 29 palms and the north easr entrance to the Joshua Tree National Park.The picture is of me , my paralyzed face and eye that didn't get put back exactly right.
Yes, there are cold days on the desert. The picture is on the desert of the Salton Sink or the Colorado Desert. Some are calling it the Coachella Valley.
The hills in the background may be the Little San Bernardino Mountains marking the southern boundary of Joshua Tree National Park
